Erasmus Exchange for Mechatronics Technicians

Internship at A. Le Coq. | Tartu, Estonia

As part of an Erasmus+ VET (Vocational Education and Training) exchange program, I worked with other mechatronics technicians on-site with a manufacturing facility focusing on the automation, installation, and maintenance of a bottling production line. The main task involved programming a Siemens S7-1200 PLC to control a sorting system that distinguished between full and empty bottles using sensor inputs. On this project, I gained hands-on experience with industrial sensors, actuators, and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design. It also gave me valuable international teamwork experience and practical exposure to real-world automation challenges.
