During a team-based hackathon, we developed a prototype for a radio-inspired product that combined hardware and software elements. My responsibility was the mechanical design of the enclosure and internal structure. I rapidly iterated 3D models to accommodate circuit boards, speaker components, and buttons, ensuring ease of assembly and a polished user experience. Working within a tight deadline, I balanced aesthetics, manufacturability, and functional design. This experience emphasized fast-paced collaboration, rapid prototyping with additive manufacturing, and integrating mechanical and electronic subsystems under real-world time constraints.
